Asian Tsunami Toll Approaches 60,000
I think this is the greatest disaster in Asia in this century.
It is very scary to see the great disaster in Aceh. It is said in the news that at first the land is hit by the earthquake, then followed by tsunami.
Double disaster. No wonder the death toll here reach up to 27,000.
Singapore is very lucky I guess. It is actually quite close to the epicenter. However there are a lot of island and sea in between. And the wave is going to the other direction.
A lot of people here are collecting money, food, and clothes to be sent to the affected country.
Just pray that everything will be alright.
